It is with great pleasure
that we invite you to join us May 5-8, 2003, and be a part of the Southern
Association of Forensic Scientists (SAFS) Spring Meeting 2003. The meeting will
be held in beautiful, historic Savannah, Georgia. Savannah is a destination that
people enjoy visiting and Savannah in the Spring is at her beautiful best.
Our meeting will be held at
the Hyatt Regency Savannah, which is located on Bay Street.
An elevator ride down transports you to the center of activity on River
Street boasting a unique variety of shops, clubs and dining experiences.

for a look at the hotel and the amenities it provides.

directly through the Hyatt Regency Savannah.

In
this time of tight budgets it is important to present a meeting that meets the
needs of our forensic community. We
are planning a meeting which will not only offer important training
opportunities, but which will also include the certification examinations of
both the American Board of Criminalistics and the Forensic Toxicology
Certification Board. Workshops are
scheduled covering a wide variety of topics, assuring there is something of
interest for everyone. In
order to present the high caliber workshops you need, there will be a nominal
fee for workshops to help offset the expenses.
Our
Section Chairpersons will be asking you for presentations to be given at
their section meetings on Thursday morning.
If you have a new procedure, an interesting case, or a solution to a
problem you’d like to share, don’t wait for them to call you.
