SUPERVISING CRIMINALIST

Salary Range: $5934 – $7218mo.
Salary Range August 20, 2001: $6292 – $7652mo.
The Santa Clara County Crime Laboratory has openings for two Supervising Criminalists. One of the positions will be assigned to the laboratory’s DNA Unit.
The Supervising Criminalist candidate should have training and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited 4 year college with a major in criminalistics, chemistry, biochemistry or related field and have more than four years of full-time, progressively responsible professional work experience in a criminalistics’ laboratory or closely related scientific environment.
Education/Experience Note: A successful candidate for the DNA Supervising Criminalist position would satisfy the DNA Advisory Board (DAB) degree/educational requirements and have a minimum of three (3) years forensic DNA laboratory experience.
