DNA Technical Leader

Pinellas County Forensic Laboratory (PCFL) is seeking applicants for a DNA

Technical Leader. The successful candidate must meet all educational and

experiential NDIS requirements for a DNA Technical Leader. Quality Assurance

experience/knowledge and court testimony experience are required. Successful

candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include supervision and technical management the forensic

DNA section; method development and validation; training scientific and law

enforcement personnel; conducting relevant screening and complex forensic

analysis of physical evidence; preparing and reviewing reports; and testifying

in court proceedings.

The DNA section is housed in the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center – a

new state of the art facility. PCFL provides generous salary and benefits

packages.

Annual Salary: Negotiable.
