LAB TECH I

Orchid Cellmark Inc., a leader in human forensic DNA testing, is seeking

qualified candidates for the position of Lab Tech I at its Nashville, TN

facility.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree with a major in biological science or

chemistry; general knowledge of computers, good communication skills, and

excellent organizational skills required. Prior laboratory experience is

preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and accession samples;

return samples at end of testing

• Punching or cutting of samples

• Extraction, amplification, loading

of samples, and operating automated equipment.

• Make solutions and reagents.

• Assist in tracking inventory of

supplies needed in laboratory.

This is an entry level position and salary will be based upon experience.
