Forensic DNA Analyst

is assisting the Houston police department in retesting the DNA evidence

presented in dozens of now questionable convictions in Houston and nearby

counties. If you have experience working in a forensic laboratory and have

talk to you about a Forensic DNA Analyst position available in the Houston area.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or

related science with course work including biochemistry, genetics, molecular

biology, and statistics. Experience working in a forensic laboratory with the

ABI Prism 377 and 310 and experience as an expert witness are also required.

Responsibilities include performing DNA testing on biological samples, test

result interpretation, case review for criminal casework and forensic/paternity
