POSITION: CRIME SCENE TECHNICIAN Police Department

JOB STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

PAY RATE: Mid $30’s Base (Commensurate With Experience) to $43K

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct crime scene and evidence processing,

photograph crime scenes, prepare diagrams and reports for examination and

investigations, provide testimony in court.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a two-year college degree or extensive course

study along with two to three years experience as a Crime Scene Technician;

familiar with criminal identification, investigations, photography, and with

AFIS computer fingerprint software.

Work schedule: 40-hour work week with some flexibility in accordance with the

operational requirements of the department.
