FORENSIC
SCIENCE SPECIALIST
The Criminal Justice Institute, a division of the
University of Arkansas System, is seeking qualified applicants to fill the
position of Forensic Science Specialist. The
Forensic Science Specialist will assist in developing and implementing education
and training programs in the forensic sciences for Arkansas and national law
enforcement, forensic science specialists, prosecutors and coroners as well as
act as a liaison with these and other criminal justice groups.
Grant preparation duties as well as the development and implementation of
a newly approved academic program in forensic science will also be involved.
Salary:
mid-$40’s depending upon qualifications
Qualifications:
All applicants must have a Master’s Degree (M.S.F.S. and M.F.S. will be
preferred). Individuals with a Ph.
D. in a forensic specialty and those with a M.S. in biology with forensic case
experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants
are required to have instructional or forensic case experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
