The Cayman Islands Health Service Authority (HSA) located in the beautiful Cayman Islands is currently looking for a dynamic DNA Forensic Specialist. This position will analyze report and testify on samples submitted to the HSA Laboratory for DNA analysis. Such samples would include body fluids, blood samples for paternity testing and hair and other evidence from sexual assaults and serious crimes.  This position will also advise clients and attend crime scenes as requested.

Must possess a Masters degree in a relevant scientific discipline (such as forensic science, chemistry or biology) and have at least 3 years forensic DNA casework experience.  This position requires experience in court settings as an expert witness.  Must maintain membership(s) in applicable forensic or other societies and have proof of continuous education.  It is desirable the post holder be certified or registered with an appropriate agency.
